Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bernard Miscuk, 83, on July 24th, 2026. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he spent most of his life raising his family in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the son of Andrew Bernard Miscuk and Virginia (Seachrist) Miscuk and brother of Andrew Joseph Miscuk. He is survived by his loving wife Rose Annette (Talarico) Miscuk and three sons, Anthony Joseph (Melissa) Miscuk, Steven Richard Miscuk, and Patrick Allan Miscuk, along with two grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Miscuk Jr, and Carolyn Louise Miscuk. He was also blessed to have several loving in-laws, and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Bernard, or Bernie, served honorably in the United States Air Force before settling in the Detroit area. There he joined Ford Motor Company, where he honed his skills as an electrician before moving into robotics and retiring as a plant engineer.
Bernie was a man of many talents and could fix anything. He was initially a draftsman and had perfect penmanship which he shared by labeling anything from shelving to the beautiful photo albums that he loved to assemble and share. He made every upgrade imaginable in the family home on Cobb Street, where everyone fondly remembers countless holidays and birthdays. There was not a job he couldn’t do when it came to home improvements. He was a true craftsman.
Bernie’s love for music was another gift he enjoyed sharing, as his children will always remember when he would bring out a box full of classic 45s and play song after song while he told them about the artists. Buddy Holly was his favorite.
Bernie’s legacy of love, happiness and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered.
