Obituary

Beverly H., age 93, of Carleton, March 18, 2022. Beloved wife of the late John Mulligan. Loving mother of Debra (Jeff) Johnson, Irene Mulligan, Robert (Julie) Mulligan, Colleen Mulligan and Sean (Candice) Mulligan. Dearest grandmother of Robert, Jr., Derek, Katie, John, Jenny and great-grandmother of Sonny, Brady, Giana, Regan, James, Cameron and Carter. She is preceded in death by her son John David Mulligan, her parents Campbell and Margaret Fletcher, her brothers Jack Fletcher and Cameron Fletcher. Beverly was born in Detroit, MI. on March 07, 1929 to Campbell and Margaret Fletcher. She was raised and educated in Montreal, Canada. She worked at the Canadian Pacific Railway in Montreal, where she met her husband, John Derek Mulligan. They were married August 18, 1949 in Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Boston, MA. They made their home in Carleton, Michigan where they raised their six children. Beverly enjoyed traveling, knitting, arts and crafts, gardening and music. For many years she enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Beaverton, MI., She was active in Girl scouts and volunteering and the Monroe Thrift shop. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Monroe Golf and Country Club. I
