Brenda Fay Minerd, born on March 15, 1944, in Prospect, Alabama, passed away on April 1, 2026, in Riverview, Michigan, at the age of 82.
Brenda was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Minerd; her grandchild, Joshua Wilhite; and her brothers, Donald Blackston and Ronald Blackston.
She leaves behind a loving family to honor her memory: her children, Timothy Dale Ward and Chip Ward; her grandchildren, Eric Ward, Tabitha Ward, and Carshel "Chip" Ward; as well as many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Brenda's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of love and devotion to her family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
