Obituary
On March 18, 2025, Brigitte Mohammadi (our mama, our Oma, our Gitte) bravely fought her last of many health battles and her heart and mind are now in eternal peace.
Brigitte Pyk was born in Herborn, Germany, on July 22, 1954 to her parents Walter and Elfriede. Her home and heart have always been in Herborn-Seelbach with her sisters Ingrid and Ulanda, her many cherished friends and extended family and in the home her beloved father built for the family on Mittel Strasse.
Brigitte found her true calling as a nurse’s aide at Sisters of Mary Reparatrix in Riverview, Michigan. She had an empathetic spirit and a kind heart that guided her when taking of ailing and retired nuns for over 20 years. She created beautiful and unbreakable bonds with everyone she worked with and cared for.
Brigitte’s favorite moments were those spent visiting friends and family in Germany, traveling through Europe with her best friend and husband, Valli and spending her time with her cherished children and grandchildren. She was most proud of the life and family she created with her husband in America.
Beautiful Brigitte is survived by her husband of 48 years, Valli (who was by her side for all of her battles), her daughter Azita (her husband Dane, daughters Luci and Bellina), her son Michael (his wife Nicole and children Ava and Mikey), and her son Jamie.
Brigitte will be laid to rest in her hometown of Herborn-Seelbach surrounded by her beloved friends and family.
