Buddy Wayne Myatt, age 88, passed away on January 4, 2026, in Troy, Michigan. Born on November 18, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, Buddy lived a life filled with warmth, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys.
Buddy had a zest for life that was evident in his many interests. He was an avid golfer, finding tranquility and joy on the greens. His love for traveling often took him to Las Vegas, where he delighted in the vibrant energy of the city. Buddy also cherished long drives, using these opportunities to capture the beauty of the world through his photography. A man with a keen mind, he held a deep affection for the stock market, enjoying the challenge and intricacies it presented. Known for his chill and easygoing nature, Buddy was a friend to many and cherished by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Helen and Leon Myatt; his brother, Ronnie; and many beloved dogs who were close to his heart.
Buddy leaves behind his sister, Linda, and her husband, Jerry Moss. His legacy continues through his nieces, Leann (Joe) Huling, Dawn (Scott) Eastridge, and Tara (Steve) Tollis, along with many great-nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him.
