Obituary

MARSHALL, Carol, age 73, of Brownstown, October 23, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Marshall. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Merrilynn) Grelock and Amy (Chris) Hodges. Dearest grandmother of Renee (Adam) Anteau, Kenneth (Jennifer) Laster, Rachael Grelock, Elizabeth Grelock, Mathew Hodges, Andrew Hodges, Elena Hodges, and Nicolas Hodges. Carol raised her family in Southgate, Mi., where she enjoyed being a den mother, bowling on Friday nights, coaching softball, and playing cards with friends and neighbors. Carol retired from Southgate Schools she enjoyed her retirement by spending time with her family, traveling, attending church festivals, and playing the slot’s. She is preceded in death by her father Stanley Grelock, mother Bernice (Przekwas) Grelock, brother Robert Grelock, and dear friend Walter Oleszkowicz. Carols visitation will be held at Michigan Memorial funeral home. Her funeral service will be at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Southgate, Mi., where she and her family were members since 1977. Carols final resting place will be next to her husband in the Bliss Cemetery.
