He is also survived by his best friend Tom Stasny, his sisters Noreen Miller and Tanya (Edwin) Hanson-Meier and his nephews Christopher, Maverick, Dakota and Leo. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard Meier and Elfriede (Charlie) Willim.
