Dolores Mildred Milen, born on February 1, 1929, in Detroit, MI, passed away on December 23, 2024, in Lincoln Park, MI, at the age of 95.
Dolores’s life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family and her love of reading. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, with her greatest passion being her family, whom she cherished deeply.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald; her son, Gary, her 2 sisters and 2 brothers; and her parents, Romeo and Mildred.
Dolores leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, survived by her children, Linda (Rick), Larry, Ronald, and Donna (John) and her sister Patricia (Bill). She was blessed with 37 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her best friend, Evelyn Smith, remained a steadfast presence and support throughout her years.
