McVETTIE, Douglas Lloyd., age 70, of New Boston, November 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Judy McVettie. Loving father of Michael (Jennifer) McVettie, Rebecca (Jeff) Lyda, Jeffery (Kelly) Hodge and Gregory (JoAnn Jenkins) Hodge. Dearest grandfather of Luke, Grant, Jacob, Timothy, Rose and Brianna. Dear great grandfather of Caleb. He is also survived by his brother Dennis and sister Linda. Douglas was a loving family man. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping and hunting. He will be loved and missed by many. He is preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Kenneth McVettie. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
