MAVEAL, Harvey J., age 72, of Garden City, November 14, 2020. Loving father of Jeffrey Maveal and Christine (James) Sheldon. Dear grandfather of Sara (Lyndsay) Maveal, Jeffrey (Michelle) Maveal, Chloe Nowell, Julia (David) Maveal, Andrew Sheldon and Alec Sheldon. Dearest great grandfather of Gavin and Simone. He is also survived by his siblings Don (Randy) Maveal, Sandy Smith, Sue Maveal, Donna Janovich, Gary (Jackie) Maveal, Cindy (Harry) Harrison and 2 dogs Spike and Spaz. Harvey was a proud Vietnam Veteran, awarded the purple heart 3 times and associated with Wounded Warriors. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Catherine Maveal, brother Dennis Maveal and longtime brother-in-law Bob Janovich. His cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
