She had a love for Detroit sports, enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her family, and cherished lunches and activities with “the girls.” She especially loved the Fourth of July, traveling from city to city to take in the beauty of fireworks displays. Christmas time held a special place in her heart, and she took great delight in decorating her home each year with an impressive collection of 17 Christmas trees. Her love for television, particularly soap operas, brought her hours of entertainment and comfort.
