Obituary

Joann Elizabeth Moore (nee: Nash); Age 85 of Temperance, Michigan passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born to Claud and Billie Nash (nee: Keith) on June 29, 1941, in Dungannon, Virginia. 
Joann worked as a machinist at General Motors, where she was known for her diligence and commitment. She was also a proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW), reflecting on her dedication to her profession and her community.

In her leisure time, Joann found joy in bowling and was an active participant in bowling leagues. Her love for the game brought her much happiness and camaraderie. She also enjoyed visiting the casino and cherished her vacations, which provided her with treasured memories and experiences.

Joann was preceded in death by her beloved son, Billy Lee Moore, and her grandson, Eric William Moore. She is also reunited with her sisters, Phyllis and Patsy, and her brothers, Ronald, Bobby, and Paul.

She leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory: her daughters, Brenda (Harold) Charlebois and Gina (Bobby) Scott; her grandchildren, Brian Charlebois, Adam (Kongmy) Charlebois, Leah (Sergio) Rodriguez, and Michael Cole; and her great-grandchildren, Carter Lee Cole, Ava Marie Charlebois, and Alana Rose Charlebois. Joann is also survived by her sister, Gerri Weber, and her brothers, Danny Nash and Gary Nash.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a service at 5:00 PM. A sunset burial at Michigan Memorial Park to follow service.

Joann's warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
