Obituary
John Lewis Marshall, born on September 17, 1943, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away at his birthplace on June 30, 2026, at the age of 82.
John was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the art of woodworking and the timeless allure of trains. His hands crafted beauty from wood, and his heart found solace in the rhythmic clatter of train tracks, passions that filled his days with purpose and contentment.
He is preceded in death by his beloved brother, Robert Marshall. John leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his devoted wife of 38 years, Bonnie Marshall; his children, Reneé (Eddie) Laureles, Jeff (Rebecca) Clark, and Mark (Ashley) Clark; and his grandchildren, Chris, Jessica, Jillian, Jacob, Zach, Samantha, Daniel, Hanna, Alexis, James, and Brooklynn. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Gavin, Kinsley, Jaxson, Holden, Addison, Madison, Sophia, Allie, Luke, and eagerly awaited the arrival of Udoka.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers or (insert name of school).
John's legacy is one of love, craftsmanship, and the enduring bonds of family. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
