John Philip Marshall, born on July 10, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, in Dearborn, Michigan, at the age of 65.
John was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He recently retired from Ford Motor Company, where he dedicated many years of hard work. In his leisure time, John was an avid golfer, enjoying the serenity and challenge of the game. Above all, he treasured moments spent with his cherished children and beloved fur kids, which brought him immense joy.
A man of deep faith, John was a faithful member of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. He also took great pleasure in watching "Law and Order" and indulging in various movies, which provided him with relaxation and entertainment.
John was preceded in death by his loving parents, Elvin and Mildred Marshall, and his dear furbaby, Hugo.
He leaves behind a family that loved him dearly, including his children, Derrick (The Jess) Marshall, Paige Marshall, and Nicole Marshall; His long-time companion, Mary Marshall and John's furry companion, Lola, will miss him greatly.
“Big Ears” is also survived by his siblings: Ronald Marshall, Randall Marshall, Beverly Ventura, Brian Marshall, Lawrence Marshall, Ginge Marshall, and Kimberly Marshall, who will remember him with fondness. John was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. His coworkers from his Ford Family in which many friends there will miss him dearly.
John’s warmth and love will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and cherished memories.
