Obituary

MATSOS, Karson E., age 22, of New Boston, passed away on May 20, 2024. Beloved son of Nathan and Melissa Matsos, and step-father Nicholas Suemnick. Loving brother of Kaelyn Matsos, Jaxson Matsos, Jordan Matsos, Nathan Matsos Jr., Grace Suemnick, and step-brothers Nicholas Suemnick Jr. and Brayden Suemnick.  Dearest grandson to Steve and Lou Ann Matsos and Karen Davis. He is survived by his aunts and uncles Janna (Jeff) Brown, Jason Parmeter, Vanessa (David) Peters, Christopher (Christiana) Matsos, Scott (Joyce) Davis, and Michelle Green, as well as 13 cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Davis and cousins Paige Davis and Terry Green. Karson was a true light to everyone who knew him. He never failed to put a smile on someone’s face and share the love of the Lord with them. He enjoyed sports, especially football, fishing, getting his hands dirty with work, and playing card games. Karson’s energy would always fill a room and he truly will be missed by those he loved and those who love him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church and School.

  • My dearest Karson. Your gramma is going to miss you so much. You stole my heart the day you were born and have always held that spot. I have some of the best memories of you playing tball, baseball, football and basketball. You were a beast on whatever field/court you were playing on. I was “that proud gramma” yelling and cheering for you in the stands in the heat, rain and snow. Lately we have had the best conversations whether by phone or text which always ended with you telling me you loved me. I always told you I loved you too or I loved you more. You would tell me “I know you do gramma”. Your favorite topic was always about the Lord ❤️. You knew your bible well. You just told me a month ago you wished you would’ve met your grandpa Richard cause you have his middle name “Eugene”. Well my sweet Karson, you’re finally going to meet him ❤️ R.I.H my dear sweet boy. I’m going to miss you so much 💔. Gramma Davis
