- Sally - you and I have been best friends for 30 years. I never saw you happier than when you and Kirk developed such a deep connection and love bloomed between you. It's heartbreaking that your plans and dreams of marrying Kirk and sharing your lives together can't be fulfilled. You knew there would be challenges with his health, but never thought his life would end this way, so soon, so suddenly. Being able to share his final hours, just the two of you, was a gift. God blessed you with this special man for three years, but now he's in God's hands - free of his physical burdens. One day, you'll be together again.
