Obituary
Kristy Lynn Mariano, Age 37 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital.
Born March 10, 1985, in Monroe. She is the only daughter of Joseph Jr. and Tina (Sulfaro) Mariano. Kristy graduated from Jefferson High School in 2003.
Kristy worked as a CNA and was a member at ST. Michael Catholic Church in Monroe. She was also a member in the Epilepsy Foundation where she was looked up to as a role model.
Kristy enjoyed listening to music, watching Netflix shows or movies, and going shopping. She had endless makeup, clothes, and purses she enjoyed. She was also a proud Italian woman who loved celebrating all the holidays. Kristy liked to make crafts like painting, making bracelets, and coloring. She was a kid at heart and loved any teddy bear or stuffed animal.
Most importantly, she had a fun outgoing personality. Kristy was straight up blunt and said it how it was. She always stood up for what she believed in. There are endless memories to share. She will be remembered for being a loving mother and daughter. Kristy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Beloved mother of Dominicio Mariano. Loving daughter of Joseph and Tina Mariano. Dearest niece of Lisa Sulfaro, Dolores Higgins, Samuel D. (Linda) Sulfaro, Robert M Sulfaro, Thomas K. Sulfaro, and many cousins.
Preceded in death by an aunt: Marilou Lommerse; and grandparents: Violet R. and Samuel F. Sulfaro and Joseph Sr. and Josephine Mariano.
Visitation is October 9, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, (next to Michigan Memorial Park) 30895 Huron River Dr., Huron Twp., (734) 783-2646. Service is October 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
