- A light from our lives has gone. A voice we loved is still. A place is vacant within our hearts, which never can be filled. A bouquet of beautiful memories sprayed with a million tears. I wish God could have spared you, if just for a few more years. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain. To walk with us through out our lives until we meet again. I do not have the proper words to describe my horrible grief and I'll spend the rest of my natural life trying to make sense of, BUT I will make you a PROMISE, and that is I will give all that I have in this world for your beautiful, brave, courageous wife and those two gorgeous smart babies. You accomplished so much in your life and we are so proud of you, now the lord has called you home to coach a new team. - Daddy you spoiled us rotten, with all your love and care and now each time we look for you, you suddenly aren't there. We knew one day death would come, and that we'd have to say goodbye. But Daddy, we wasn't ready, and we thought we had more time. We’ll no longer feel your arms around us tightly when we cry or be able to kiss you softly or wave to you goodbye. Because you are no longer here in spirit anyway, for God's special angels have been sent to carry you away. We hope you're watching over us the way you used to do. It really is the only way I think we might get through. Our tears and hurt may consume us as we lost you in our lives, but we have such happy memories behind our crying eyes. - My heart is broken into a million pieces because without a clue or a hint of what was yet to be, God called you home unexpectedly. When your golden heart stopped beating, we knew you had to rest, and God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. During the day I have to be strong, I put on a brave face and act like nothing is wrong. But at night when my tears start flow, I find myself asking God why you suddenly had to go. Then he said don't think of him as gone away, your husband journeys has just begun, life holds so many facets and this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears; in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. These words cannot explain how much you mean to me and you see nothing could ever compare to how great of a husband you were to me.
