MURRAY, Mary D., age 94, of New Boston, March 20, 2022. "Dottie" spent her childhood in Georgia. She met an Army man at a USO dance when she was 16. They fell in love and in 1946 she married her sweet Bill. He whisked her away to Michigan where they raised their family. Dottie showered abundant love on all of her children and worked hard her whole life. She had a strong resolve, strong faith and more than a bit of playfulness. She was a joy to all who encountered her. Dottie was the beloved wife of the late William Murray. Loving mother of Jacquelyn (Joseph) Buky, Rebecca (Gerald) Gates and Paul (Nancy) Murray. Dearest grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 19 and great-great-grandmother of 5. She is preceded in death by her children William Murray, Michele Murray, Michael Murray, Ann Marie Murray, her brother Paul and her sisters Mariam and Margaret.
