Obituary
Dr. Mary Martin was a devoted mother, scholar, and resilient woman whose life was defined by perseverance and quiet strength. As a single mother of three, she dedicated her life to raising her children while pursuing higher education to better her family’s future.
Mary earned her doctorate in psychology from Walden University, reflecting her commitment to learning and her dedication to her craft. A very private person, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family and led by example through discipline, independence, and determination.
Mary was deeply loved by her children and admired for her strong personality and work ethic. Her legacy lives on through the lives she shaped and the values she instilled.
Dr. Mary Martin is survived by her children Jason, David, and Shayla; three sisters and one brother; several nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
