Obituary

Philip J. (Pops) McPartlin, Jr.  5/24/1935-10/19/2026.  Predeceased by; his loving wife, Rosemary C. McPartlin, his parents, Philip and Gladys McPartlin, and children, David McPartlin, Michael McPartlin and Mark Carter.

Pops was the best Dad ever to Cindy (Dave) McPartlin-Davis-Sams, Sherry (Zennith) Carter-Manns, Lawrence (Donna) Carter, Dawn (Timothy) Carter-Holland-Paull, Crystal (Mark) Carter-Dolence, and his “Love you like a son” dearest friend, Linuard Manns.

Loving grandfather of his adored grandchildren, Jessica, Kelly, Jamie, Zachary (Felicia), Jacob, Lawrence III (Stacey), Madison (Josh), Dustin (Emma), Nicole, Alex, Christopher, Haley, Timmy, Connor, and Riley.  He is also survived by multiple great grandchildren and nieces and nephews that he cherished.

Pops found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. After a distinguished 47-year career with Cadillac, he retired and devoted even more time to the people and activities he loved most. An avid photographer, he rarely missed an opportunity to capture life's special moments, preserving memories for generations to come. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, where his jokes around the campfire brought laughter to family and friends. Pops was a gifted storyteller whose tales were so captivating that you never quite knew where fact ended and fiction began.
