Obituary
Rebekah Kira (Mertz) Nash, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 24, 2025 , at the age of 44. Born on September 26, 1980, in Dearborn, Michigan, Rebekah brought joy, warmth, and laughter to those around her throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Mertz. She is survived by her devoted mother, Deborah Mertz, and her cherished son, Preston Nash and Preston’s Father Daniel Nash. Rebekah's memory will also be carried on by her sisters, Kimberly (Aaron) Williamson and Kristy (Christopher) Newman; her nephew, Cole Newman; and her niece, Alyssa Williamson.
Rebekah's extended family includes her loving Aunt Jill, Uncle Mike (Barbie), Uncle Billy (Janice). Her cousins Bobby, Rodney, Gary, Ryan, Melissa, Laura, Alexa, Jaidyn, Marcus, Aleecia, Natayla, Jasmine, and Melanie will also miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Preston Nash Fund, ensuring that Rebekah's legacy continues through the support and care of her beloved son.
