Obituary

Robert Lou Morin, born on July 3, 1933, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 91. He leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories. 

A loving father and grandfather, Robert dedicated his life to his family, sharing countless joyful moments with them. His enduring passion for sports was evident in his unwavering support for the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Red Wings. 
Robert was married to the love of his life, Carolyn Morin, for 65 wonderful years until her passing. Together, they nurtured a close-knit family that will forever remember them.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn, parents Clyde and Hazel Morin, and siblings Betty, Lorene, and Jack; Robert is survived by his devoted children: Terry (Mary) Morin, Gordie (Sue) Morin, Kelly (Dana) Sorenson, and Susie (Tom) Caplis. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Colin (Emily), Taylor (Lindsey), Chris, Amy (Vinnie), Jacob (Kelsey), Alex, Lucas (Jen), Maelyn, Emily (Wes), Kelsie (Jake), and Zachary (Stephanie). Robert also delighted in the presence of his great-grandchildren: Adalynn, Ellie, Zoey, William, Eli, Owen, Zoey, Isla, Molly, Sadie, Liam, Matthew, Nora, and Bjorn. He is also survived by his brother Glen Morin.

Robert's life was one of simplicity, filled with the love of family and the joy of shared experiences. His memory will endure in the hearts of those he touched and through the enduring love of his family.
