Condolences
I'm so sorry to hear about Rob's passing. Over many years I always enjoyed seeing him at Carleton Glen. No matter how busy he was he always made it a point to say hello. When i would see him at various SMCC sporting events we alwats ended up talking about golf. His passion and love for the game was unbelievable. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Vicki and Family, I'm so sorry to hear about Rob's passing. He put up a tremendous fight against the big "C", as you knew he would. So many amazing memories of him for me. So very few people get to have a life being able to say it isn't work if you do what you love, he did. People ask me about what my favorite job was: 1. Navy Pilot 2. Working for Rob at Carleton Glen, I loved every minute. He taught me so much, and he was so proud of "his work" in making it so beautiful. Sunrises and Sunsets on the greens mower is time I cherished. A full life, a beautiful family, and passing himself on to others. Too short, yes, but it was still a fabulous ride! He has a 4 foot putt for eagle in heaven right now, and he is smiling down at us. Scott Meloche
Dear Vicki and family,
