Ronald "Ron" Dean Michaluk, born on June 12, 1942, in Allen Park, Michigan, passed away on August 28, 2025, in Dearborn, Michigan, at the age of 83.
Ron was a man whose life was defined by kindness, humor, and an unwavering dedication to his family. He spent his career as a hi-lo driver at Kelsey Hayes, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor. After retiring, Ron continued to touch the lives of those around him with his infectious laughter and legendary dad jokes, which never failed to bring smiles to the faces of friends and family alike.
A devoted husband, Ron, shared 41 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Betty, with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family that was the center of Ron's world. He was an incredible father to Stacey (Mike), Stephanie (Bruce), Steve (Cindy), and Mike (Tammy), and a cherished grandfather to 11 grandchildren: Christina, Cody, Kris (Danica), Kari (Derek), Nichole, Erin (Shane), Lauren, Corey (Marie), Brenden, Samantha, and Mandi. His legacy continues through his 18 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of joy and generosity.
Ron was preceded in death by his son, Steve Michaluk, and his parents, Michael and Ruth Michaluk. He leaves behind a large and loving family, as well as countless friends who were touched by his warmth and compassion.
Services to honor Ron's life will be held at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10:30 AM, followed by entombment at Michigan Memorial Park.
Ron Michaluk's life was a testament to the power of kindness, humor, and love. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
