Thelma (Keathley) McKinney was born on August 2, 1930 in Harold, Kentucky, passed away at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 07, 2015. She was the eldest daughter of 6 children. She married her childhood sweetheart, Charles Bertley McKinney on December 22, 1947. She was an avid gardener, and an entrepreneurial business woman, who owned and ran a family grocery store for 20 years. Thelma is survived by her 3 children; Peggy (Larry) Mathis, Terry (Debbie) McKinney and Cullen (Kelly) McKinney. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild, as well as her youngest sister Georgia Salisbury. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles, her parents Henry and Knealie Keathley, brothers Charley, Eddie and Garland Keathley, sister Ottie Brown and grandson Shawn Mathis.
