William Ira McGahey, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 20, 2025, in Romulus, at the age of 76. Born on May 27, 1949, in Detroit.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra McGahey, who stood by his side throughout their many years together. William was a proud father to his children, Matthew McGahey and his wife Amy, and Michelle Janiga and her husband Chris. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Ainsley McGahey, Alivia McGahey, Ellianna Janiga, and Lillianna Janiga, who brought immense joy to his life.
William will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, leaving behind a family that will forever hold him in their hearts.
