NICKELL, CHRISTINE
Christine Nickell passed away on February 1, 2026, in Dearborn, Michigan. She was born on September 29, 1934, in Morgan County, Kentucky, and lived to the age of 91.
Christine was a devoted employee at Ford Motor Co., where she worked diligently in assembly. Her dedication to her work was only surpassed by her love for her family and friends. Known for her vibrant personality, Christine was a social butterfly who brought joy and laughter to every gathering. She cherished time spent playing Bingo and visiting casinos, always enjoying the company of those around her.
Christine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Linville Nickell, her parents Chalmer and Virgie, her son Randell Nickell, and her brother James "J.E." Wilson. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her children Debra (Charles) Erickson and Tim (Deborah) Nickell; her grandchildren Perry, Brian, Megan (Scott) Skelton, and Matthew (Kate) Nickell; and her great-grandchildren Mason and Lucy. Christine is also survived by her sisters Betty (the late Howard) Helton, Linda (Ross) Sanders, her niece Sandra Watkins, and several other nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place at "The Witness Crematory" located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Christine's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be dearly missed but fondly remembered
