Obituary

NIX JR., David C., age 60, of Carleton, February 26, 2022. Beloved husband of Kelly Nix. Loving father of Shelby Nix and Devin (Brooke-Lyn) Nix. Dear son of David (Carol) Nix Sr., and his mother-in-law Wanda Cronenwett. He is also survived by his sister Sherri (Dave) Botta and nieces Corinne and Jocelyn Botta, niece Chelsea Long and his sister-in-law Lisa (Roger) Cronenwett-Fraser. Dave enjoyed being with his family and friends the most. He also enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, trips up north, and warm southern vacations. Enjoyed boating down the Indian River, spending time building and fixing classic cars, being in his barn with his family and friends. He was a fun-loving guy who welcomed anyone who came into his path. He also leaves behind his faithful companions furbabies Bonnie “daddy’s girl”, Lainey and Pearl and many grandpups. He is preceded in death by mother Joyce Nix and father-in-law Daniel Cronenwett.
