- Chris, our deepest condolences to you and the family, Ed was one of a kind and will not be forgotten. He was one of the first guys to "look out" for me a s a Rookie starting out. He was always there when I needed his advice and guidance. He was a true warrior and a great friend with a huge heart. We dove together, hunted together, drank together, and had countless memories. - I am so sorry for the lost of your beloved husband father and grandfather. He was such a nice man to sit and talk to. I'll never forget that when I first started meeting him at family functions I would say hi Uncle Ed. Because that's what John said. And then he said we don't say hi....... we hug in this family.
