Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nancy Ruth Nadeau, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on November 4, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on June 12, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, Nancy lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and work.
Nancy spent many years as a devoted employee and secretary at Ford Motor Company, where she took great pride in her work. Her passion for fixing things and her spirit of independence were evident throughout her life. Known for her caring nature, Nancy was always taking care of everyone around her, raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with the utmost love and devotion.
Her grandchildren fondly remember the trips they took with her to Oklahoma and Florida, where she filled their adventures with joy and unforgettable memories. Nancy's playful spirit shone through during countless hours spent in the pool, doing the "Grandma Nadeau float" and delighted in squirting us all with a squirt gun. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Nancy was a woman of many passions; she loved visiting the casino, indulging in chocolate, and spending time with her cats. Watching "Wheel of Fortune" was one of her simple pleasures, and she had an infectious sense of humor, always cracking jokes and bringing smiles to those around her. A lifelong admirer of Elvis, Nancy's warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Preceding Nancy in death are her cherished daughter Denise Wells, beloved granddaughter Shannon Wells, grandson Danny Bernier, siblings Pat, Shirley, Mary, and Walter “Bud”, parents Walter and Anna Parr, and her dear furbaby Milo.
