Nixon, Phillip D., age 67, of Southgate, February 21, 2014. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of Dawn Marie Miner. Dearest grandfather of Justin Edward and Jacob. Dear brother of Bruce and Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Elinor Nixon and his brothers , Curt and Sam. He had a very good heart and was a truly generous man. He loved his nieces nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved University of Michigan football.
