NEWTON, Russell W., age 82, of Milan, May 17, 2022. Beloved husband of Diane Newton. Loving father of Debra (the late Chuck) Doria, Jeff (Lisa) Newton, Jeff (Lisa) Fennell, Kim (Scott) Crowl and Michelle (Michael) Goulet. Dearest grandfather of Phillip (Amy) Morford, Laura Morford, Randi (Robbie) Martin, Jessica (David) Matthews, Jeff Newton Jr., Christopher (Katie) Fennell, Isabelle Goulet, Ashley (Eric) Scott, Matt (Caitlyn) Fennell, Maya Fennell, Zachary (Amanda) Crowl and Madison Crowl. Dear great grandfather of 15 loving great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Beverly St. Clair, niece Ginger (Kenny) Kick, niece Kelly (Bill) Blaine and his nephew Aaron (Michelle) Whitten. Russell was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the York Baptist Church. Russell loved to travel with his wife. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents Bass and Irene Newton and his great grandchild Oliver Fennell. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
