Obituary

Tracey Charlene Nicholson, born on April 6, 1967, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away on November 12, 2025, in Brownstown, Michigan, at the age of 58. 

Tracey was a remarkable woman whose intelligence and warmth touched everyone she met. She earned a master’s degree in chemistry and went on to become a Vice President in the automotive industry, where her leadership and dedication were highly respected.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tracey was a devoted mother and cherished family member. Her children, Kelsey Ferrell and Nicholas Ferrell, were the center of her world, and she prioritized family above all else. Her close-knit family was a testament to her nurturing spirit and unwavering love.

Tracey had a passion for travel and explored the world with an adventurous heart. She also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching "General Hospital" and cooking shows. Her home, which she lovingly created, was a beautiful sanctuary filled with warmth and laughter.

Known for her quick wit and positive outlook, Tracey had an incredible ability to turn challenges into opportunities. She was a true fighter, facing life's trials with grace and resilience.

Tracey is preceded in death by her father, Millard "Nick" Nicholson. She is survived by her loving mother, Janet Nicholson; her beloved children, Kelsey and Nicholas Ferrell; and their father, her dear friend Tim Ferrell. She also leaves behind her sister, Ve (John) Mincey; Aunt Penny and Uncle Denny Gendron; cousins Nichol Gendron and Michelle (MJ) Kell; niece Mackenzie (Cristi) Stanescu; great-niece Senna Stanescu; and second cousins Alexandra Burden, Breanna Burden, and Andrew Wesley.
