Beloved husband of 67 years of Geraldine (Gerry) who resides at Rivergate Terrace. Loving father of Bonnie (David) Herrington of Grandvile, Michigan, Ronald (Kim) Oberdorf of Southgate and James Oberdorf of Redford. Dearest grandfather of Jackie Oberdorf of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Jonathan Oberdorf of Taylor, Kyle (Tara) Herrington of Grand Rapids, Katrina (Gregory) of Irmo, South Carolina and Michael Girard of Southgate and great-grandfather of Nora Herrington, Erin Herrington of Grand Rapids and Jude Schoenhoff of Irmo, South Carolina. He is also survived by his brother Leo (Ruth) Oberdorf of Southgate, his sister Carol (Dennis) Strong of Summerfield, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandson Matthew Oberdorf.
