Overbeck, Jr., Henry S. “Hank,” age 86, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Born January 20, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Henry Sylvester Sr. (d) and Margaret (Schroder) Overbeck (d). Hank was a brother to Margaret (d), Charles (Lucile) and Carol (Dennis (d)) Holmes. Hank is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice (Van Hattem), their three sons, Jim (Jayne), Thomas (Lori) and Michael (Alexandra). Family was the focus throughout Hank’s life. After retirement from the railroad, he devoted his time to family and church, being “Papa” to his six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and ushering at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
