O’CONNELL, Karen L., age 62, of Taylor, April 01, 2022. Beloved wife of Patrick O’Connell. Loving daughter of Linda (the late Ross) Reckinger. Dearest sister of Brenda (Richard) Sokel. She is also survived by her nephews Nick Taylor and Jackson Sokel. She was preceded in death by her sister Sharon Schwab. Karen was the number one fan of the band, Queen and had a room dedicated to them in her house. She was very talented, she enjoyed crafting, painting and always had a creative mind. For those who knew her, would often describe Karen as patient, thoughtful, kind, generous and simple. Karen will be deeply missed, loved and forever remembered by her family and friends. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
