Richard Duane Otter, born on December 13, 1951, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Inkster, Michigan, at the age of 74.
Richard was a man of diverse interests, with a particular passion for shopping and collecting. His keen eye and enthusiasm for discovering unique items brought joy to his life and those around him.
He proudly served his country as a Navy Veteran, embodying the values of dedication and service throughout his life.
Richard is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Duane and Dorthey Otter, and his dear sisters, Linda Vasser and Janine Moore.
He leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving siblings: Rodney (Dorothy Ann) Otter, John Otter, and Aleta Yeager. Richard's legacy extends to his many nieces and nephews, who will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.
Richard will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and the warmth he shared with everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
