  • My deepest condolences to the Onufrak family. Mr Onufrak was one of the best teachers at RRHS. He was my algebra teacher and drivers Ed teacher. He was the greatest for Drivers Ed! Sometimes when I’m driving my car today I can still hear his voice in my head telling me why I should or shouldn’t do this or that. He tried to teach me to parallel park and I just couldn’t do it. He finally gave up and passed me anyway. I still cannot do it today. LOL That was over 40 years ago! He was a unique teacher that left a lasting impression on a lot of us over the years! RIP Mr Onufrak! You will be missed! Debbie Lee Mathis
  • Mr. Onufrak was one of the most beloved teachers in River Rouge high school. I graduated over 40 years ago and I still remember him well. That says a lot about the type of teacher he was. I am blessed to have learned from him. Amy

  • I knew Rick Most of my life being a next-door neighbor of my parents one of the nicest people I knew. His motorcycle tipped over one day and he came looking for my dad somebody with muscles and I was the only one there so he said I would do and I went to help him somehow we got it sitting back up he acted like I saved his life. I can’t help but chuckle and think of him every time I see a motorcycle now. He will be missed. My condolences to the family. Grace Biniecki
  • Prayers and sympathies to Marty and to all of Rick’s friends and family members. Rick was a special and unique person that loved life and those individuals hat he cared for. Rick and I pledged together in the Spring of 1963 to become brothers of the Kappa Phi Alpha fraternity at Eastern Michigan University. So our friendship has lasted nearly 58 years. He loved his fraternity brothers and held the memories of those days close to his heart. Rick was always proud of his River Rouge heritage and his commitment to the River Rouge Public Schools. His passing is so sad. We will miss being with Marty and Rick in the Panhandle of Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama each winter for the last several years. Good friend and good brother…REST IN PEACE.
