- We can't begin to say how much we are going to miss you Aunt Shirley. Because you answered my email, i(we) found our family. It took courage to step out there to welcome family that you had only heard of. But that's the person you were. A loving, caring person. You gave us so much love, laughter and such wonderful memories. I (we) will forever be greatful for the time we had. I won't say goodbye, I'm going to say til we meet again. Our sincerest condolences to all our family. Just remember she would want us all to be happy. Look to all the fun memories. Marty & Darlene Merschat
- I too met Shirley at Ford Motor company when I was asked to train her in the field that I was in (EDI). She was a joy to work with. My wife Fay has a sister named Mary Bird and it is there that our friendship was renewed. We were always glad to see each other a few times at the Farm picking Berries or picking out Pumpkins. Cyril and Tim were lucky to have her smiling face around. She was always so positive in Nature. I will never forget her. I remember how she would brag about her son Driving to Arizona many times in the Fall making sure she would be comfortable. She will be with the Angels I believe. Tom Cooney
