Obituary
Thomas Michael Oloffo, born on January 19, 1955, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away on August 11, 2026, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, at the age of 71.
Thomas was a man who cherished the simplicity and beauty of the great outdoors. His love for nature was matched only by his passion for photography, capturing the world’s splendor through his lens. He found joy in the vast universe of Sci-Fi movies, often retreating to his extensive theater room to explore other worlds and galaxies far beyond our own.
He was a member of The Solar Club and the Knights of Columbus, communities where he formed lasting friendships and shared his many interests. Thomas was affectionately known for his adventurous spirit and deep appreciation for life’s wonders.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Oloffo, and his beloved niece, Danielle. He leaves behind his mother, Helen Oloffo, and his siblings, Debbie (Randy) Kakoczki, Cheryl (Dave) Taylor, and Maria (Tony) D'Alfonso. His legacy is carried on by several loving nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Thomas’s warmth, curiosity, and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him. As we remember him, we celebrate a life filled with exploration, imagination, and love.
