
Obituary
Dale Prosise, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in New Boston, Michigan, at the age of 85. Born on October 4, 1939, in Missouri, Dale lived a life marked by dedication to his family and his work.
Dale was a skilled diesel mechanic and carpenter, a profession he pursued with great pride and expertise. Beyond his work, he found immense joy in spending time with his beloved family and cherished the moments they shared together. An avid outdoorsman, Dale also enjoyed hunting, a pastime that brought him closer to his sons-in-law and grandsons.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Muriel; his parents, Nelson and Lilith Prosise; and his in-laws, Earl and Gertrude Strong. Dale's legacy lives on through his surviving family: his three devoted daughters, Jane (Keith) Kreyger, Trudi (Gregory) Piazza, and Mickey (Jerry) Wawrzyniec; his six grandchildren, Anthony (Julia) Kreyger, Tim (Erin) Kreyger, Jessica (Antoine Singer) Hughey, Ashley (Cameron Alguire) Hughey, Craig (Danielle) Wawrzyniec, and Dale Wawrzyniec; and his fourteen great-grandchildren, Shelby, Ella, Quentin, Laynie, Aubree, Kynlee, Landen, Liam, Karly, Kennedy, Alba, Sylvia, Elio, and Lucy. He will also be dearly missed by his close friends, Tom and Mary Boudrie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. A service to honor Dale's life will take place on May 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Following the service, Dale will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park.
