Obituary
David Michael Pattenaude, born March 31st, 1953, in Michigan, passed away on July 11th, 2026, in Taylor, Michigan at the young age of 73. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Dave will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for the great outdoors, his unwavering spirit and his sense of humor.
Dave had an amazing career of 33 years working for Ford Motor Company. In his time at Ford, he made many friendships that lasted throughout his life. his employment there, rewarded him with the ability to retire at an early age. In his leisure time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, playing practical jokes, painting/artwork and riding his golf cart through the woods to catch a glance at nature. Dave never met a stranger. He could walk into a room and know the whole life story of every individual there. He loved experimenting with new recipes. Dave was an accomplished keyboard player, having played many years alongside his brother in-law Jerry with the Top Shelf Tuna Band.
Dave took immense pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Jill Pattenaude, and his children: David (Michelle) Monticello, Angela (Ray) Gullette, Christina (Ray) Cousino, Steven (Michael Vale) Michels, and Matthew Michels. His legacy also lives on in his cherished grandchildren.: Brenden, Kaetlyn, Isabella, Nicolette, Christopher, Annie, Brittany, Hunter, Brayden, and Aliyah as well as great grandchildren Willow and Sophia.
Dave is also survived by his beloved sisters, Jeannine (Jerry) Gartner and Janelle Pattenaude. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Patricia Pattenaude, and his brother Alan Pattenaude.
Dave’s warm heart, sense of humor, and love for those around him will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we remember his life, let us carry forward the values he held dear and the love he shared so generously
