- Dear Sheyl and Mitchell, I had the privilege of working with Dave almost fourteen years. It was nice to work with someone who took charge and did his work with purpose and aim. - DEAR PAPPAS FAMILY, My condolences to both Sheryl & Mitchell. I must say , that I was completely stunned when I heard the news of Dave's passing. I've known Dave for 14 years. He was a strategic leader in the workplace and a man that really loved his family. Dave has been there for me in various ways during our time of working together. I'm still shocked but I understand this is apart of the cycle of life. Dave has made a huge impact in the lives of others and has left a lifetime of memories that both you and Mitchell can cherish for a lifetime.... He was very caring and concerned about his metro family. Dave would always ask how is everything and if you ever needed anything dont hesitate to ask. - Dave was the first friend I made in the Lavonia office when I came to Metro, over the time we worked together I always knew I could count on him when I needed anything. - Words cannot express how much this saddens me for the Pappas family loss. Pappas family this is going to be a huge void in all the lives that had the honor to be touched by knowing Dave Pappas. We will truly miss his huge presence when you are around him, his words of guidance when speaking with him and his humor at any given moment. - Mrs. Pappas and Mitchell words can not began to explain the love Dave had for you two. He spoke of you all the time. He used to share his life experiences every chance he had and he encouraged everyone around him to do the same. Sheryl, I remember when he told me about the day he proposed to you, it was like as he told the story he was falling in love all over again. Dave was more than a boss, he was a mentor, a friend, a caring person. He will be missed. - Dear Sheryl, Mitchell and Family, Please Accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Dave. He was a great listener, Teacher and all around leader. There were many times that I reached out to Dave in My career at MetroPCS and now Metro/T-Mobile and he would be sure to give me sound advice and direction. He was very dedicated to work and family very much so that anytime I called he was there to answer, and in passing dialogue he would make mention that family was doing well. - I am so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Dave was someone who poured into me during my years at Metro. He was there for me during some tough times in my life and I will always be grateful. - I may have only known Dave for 5 years, but as those reading this will most likely agree, it felt much longer. Dave had a gift of "knowing you" almost immediately. - David was a wonderful human being! I cannot express enough how close we all became as my husband Dave became ill and passed in 2017. I will always remember his kindness and what a great friend he was to us. He was a great guy at work and in friendship! He was thought about with great love.
