Obituary

Dwayne Gerald Pachota, age 51, of Canton, Michigan, passed away on September 14, 2026. Born on April 8, 1975, in Garden City, Michigan, Dwayne lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family.

Dwayne was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished every moment spent watching his children play sports, always their biggest fan on the sidelines. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, finding peace and fulfillment in nature's embrace. One of his favorite pastimes was getting ice cream with his family, creating sweet memories that will be treasured forever. Dwayne also had a fondness for Biggby Coffees, often seen with a cup in hand as he shared stories and laughter with those around him. His other pride and joy was the “golf course” aka his lawn.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Wendy Pachota, who stood by his side through life's journey. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Caden Pachota, Cody Pachota, and Felicity Pachota, who were the pride and joy of his life. Dwayne's legacy of love and kindness will continue through them.

Dwayne is also survived by his parents Joseph and Lana Pachota, and brothers, Nick Pachota and Joe (Becky) Pachota, who shared countless adventures and memories with him. He was blessed with brother-in-laws who were more like brothers: Ronnie Virga, Tony (Jamie)  Virga, Joey (Natalie) Virga, and Nicky Virga. His extended family includes many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dwayne's family, honoring his memory and supporting those he loved most.

Dwayne's warmth, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family will be remembered by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
