POSHADLO, Elaine M., age 75, of Taylor, July 25, 2017. Loving mother of Marvin Webb and Debbie Abunab. Dear grandmother of Beau Solis, Zachary Abunab and Kaylin Webb. She is survived by many caring family members and close friends along with her canine companion Cocoa. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Condolences

  • "Like mother, like daughter." Aunt Elaine passed on, not only her good looks to Debbie, but also her compassion for others. When I was caring for my father (Uncle Charlie's eldest brother) during his final hours, Elaine instinctively sensed my distress and called at a critical moment (which we both believe was arranged by God); and, wouldn't you know it, Debbie was the Floor Manager at the hospital and went way beyond the call of duty in seeing to every perceived need at yet another crucial time in his rapidly approaching death. I have a private and selfish reason for missing Elaine. She always went overboard at the poetry I compose from time to time, and if it weren't for her praise and encouragement, I would have let it go long ago. Perhaps Debbie will permit me to recite two short ditties I recently wrote, which strangely enough are both appropriate for this occasion when I can now reciprocate and bolster the spirits of her family members. I just couldn't wait to see her again to bask in her reaction, well perhaps that opportunity has now arrived even though she's no longer with us, here, that is.... Cliff Poshadlo, Jr.

  • Elaine was a very dear part of my life for 28 years. Not only was she the best mother-in-law anyone could ever have, she was a valued friend. She was always good to me and treated me like her own daughter. I have missed her terribly, and I am so sorry that she is gone. I love you, Elaine, and will miss you very much! I will always treasure the memories of the love and friendship you gave throughout the years. Vicki Webb
  • I can't believe my beautiful mom is gone. My heart aches but I still feel her presence which is providing me some comfort. Words can't describe how much she means to me, she inspired me to strive for whatever I wanted to achieve but her main message was to be happy and enjoy life. What a beautiful soul! I miss you mom and love you now and always :( Debbie Abunab
