PETTY, Franklin D. Sr, age 77, of Romulus, November 13, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Petty. Loving father of Franklin Petty, Jr., Jamie Petty, Shawn (Michelle) Petty, Karen Johnson and Melissa (Charles) Davis. Dearest grandfather of many and great-grandfather of many. He is also survived by his siblings Dixie (Neitha) Petty, Redonia Keeton, Gloria Brown, Glenda (James) Nichols and Rachel (John) Hausfeld. Franklin enjoyed watching his home teams Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and Alabama College Football. He is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Inez Petty and his brother-in-law’s James Brown and Harold Keeton.
