Freda Jane Pagac, born on July 30, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on November 6, 2025, in Westland, Michigan, at the age of 82.
Freda was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in watching the beauty of the sunrise, which she cherished deeply. Her warmth and gentle spirit touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Pagac, her parents, Clarence and Florence Summers, and nine siblings, whose memories she held dear throughout her life.
Freda leaves behind a loving family who will continue to celebrate her life and legacy: her two children, Norman Hounshell and Renee Hounshell (James Wilson); her three cherished grandchildren, John Bennett III, Brandon Williams, and Scotty Hounshell; and her precious great-grandchild, Aubrey. Her family and friends will forever hold her in their hearts and remember the love and kindness she shared with them.
Freda's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
