Obituary

Frederick Kenneth Perry, born on June 23, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 87 in Taylor, Michigan. A devoted and cherished husband, brother, uncle, and friend, Fred's gentle spirit touched many throughout his life.

Fred was a true enthusiast of life, finding joy in the simple pleasures that surrounded him. As an avid Detroit Tigers fan, he spent countless evenings cheering for his beloved team, sharing in the triumphs and tribulations of America's favorite pastime. His passion for collecting sports cards was a testament to his love of history and nostalgia, each card a treasure that connected him to the players and stories that enriched his life.

A man of profound faith, Fred's life was guided by his unwavering devotion to God. His kindness, humility, and compassion left an indelible mark on all who knew him, serving as a beacon of strength and serenity to his family and friends.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dolores Perry; his sisters, Genevra Stier and Fran Wattles; and his brothers, Edward Perry and Buster Perry. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Dorothy Perry, and his sister, Nina Huthwaite. Fred was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews, who cherished his warmth and generosity.
