Obituary

POTTER, Gary W., age 59 of Southgate, September 17, 2016. Beloved fiancé of Laurie Duff. Loving father of Christian Jordan. Daughter in heart Kimberly McAllister. Dearest grandfather of Dakota Rose McAllister and Avery May McAllister. He is also survived by his brothers John Potter, Jr., Philip (Donna) Potter and Jerry (Kellie) Potter and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Betty Potter. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

  • Gary will always be my soulmate. I know how much his brothers and family are hurting. I too am beyond words. But I am posting to tell you all I knew going into he needed my kidney. I want to tell you all I am bless to have had such a great man in my life even if it was too short and through all this grief I would do it in a second. I love you Gary. I also love his family my deepest prayers are for comfort and that they find it somewhere to realize life will never be the same they will just learn to live with there grief.
